DC LEAKAGE CURRENT SENSORS

In an ideal electrical circuit, the insulation resistance tends to infinity. Unfortunately, almost everything is not so clear cut. No matter how good the insulation of the wire or other conductive elements of the equipment is, this is a finite value, which means that even during normal operation there is a slight current leakage. Leakage current sensors (differential current sensors) are devices that measure the presence of a current difference in the forward and reverse conductors of power feeders, which makes it possible to determine the presence of leakage and, accordingly, damage to the cable insulation. To monitor DC leakage currents, we offer sensors with leakage current ratings from 10 to 1A mA with high overload capacity, made in various designs, including options for installation methods, as well as windows for primary conductors from 8 to 70 mm.
